Parker Brothers sold a license to manufacture and sell Monopoly games in Canada to Copp-Clark in late February, 1936. Copp-Clark immediately applied for a Canadian patent for the game. In November, 1936, the Canadian patent for Monopoly was approved. After that time, games were labeled with the Canadian patent 362,124. Copp Clark - Patented Canada. The original first Canadian edition of Monopoly. Distributed in Canada by Copp Clark Co. Ltd. All the playing pieces, hotels, houses and dice are WOOD. It is complete with:

A huge stack of money, most of it is in ex. condition. All of it has c. 1935 on it. Instructions have "Patented Canada 1936" on the front of them and copyright 1935 on the back for the rules of the short game. The original box has Patented Canada 1936 on the lid and is in very good condition. Rubber stamp on box with 301/200.
